Mall of American Weekend Getaway Part 2

On Saturday, I was able to get a lot more school clothes shopping for the kids completed. But we still had time for some fun...

We took Bryleigh to Build a Bear to create her very first bear!  She was so very excited that she was finally able to go into the store, rather than walk past it (since that is what we usually do!)

It was no surprise that she chose the pink Disney Princess bear!  This girl loves her princesses!

I think that Daddy had more fun than me finding pretty dresses for "Rapunzel"!  He was the one that suggested Bryleigh get high heels for her bear's shoes :)

Christian was such a good sport watching and waiting while his sister got to make a bear!  He was just as excited when he was able to pick out a lego set to take home and build!

We stopped into Macy's and they had free face painting! The kids were so excited because this was no tiny little fact painting, this was the real deal!  The free face painting was even better than than the $10 face painting that we could have paid in the amusement park area!

The kids were excited to show off their face paining to everyone that would look and listen!  We had 2 very sad little kids when the paintings came off while swimming later that night!

We decided to take a break from shopping about mid afternoon since the kids were so patient while we were shopping! Camp Ice Age was a new limited time attraction that we decided to check out!

The kids had so much fun playing with all of the arcade games!  We must have spent over an hour inside when the staff said that most people are done in about 30 minutes!  The best part was that staff was so interactive and played with the kids the entire time we were there!  They definitely got good reviews from us when we were leaving!

We were able to watch 3 Ice Age Movie Clips!  By this time, we were all on the tired side. Too bad we couldn't take a little nap on the bean bags!

We also got to meet "Sidd"!

We had a long but fun day! The kids were amazing and definitely deserved a treat at the end of the day!  Talk about spoiled children...

It was great to get away from home as a family for a much needed relaxing and fun weekend getaway. We are all refreshed and ready for the start of the school year!
