After School Activities

We are officially living a "soccer' mom lifestyle these days. Bryleigh started gymnastics and dance again a few weeks ago.  So we are busy running on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Bryleigh.

And this year Christian is in cub scouts! So we have meetings every other Tuesday.

It can be challenging some days trying to figure out how we are going to get which kid where but we have managed so far. The hardest part is getting into a routine again. I'm trying to figure out my "study" and "paper writing" days so that I can spend the most time with the kids but it is rather trying some times. It will all work out in the end but holy cow....how do parents have more than 2 children?????  Ha Ha

But they are good for helping....
Clearly you can see who was the most help with yardwork yesterday!

A girls weekend and a guys weekend!

It is always nice when we can spend one on one time with each child.  This weekend was a perfect time to do just that!

Bryleigh and my mom came to school with me on Saturday. They spent the morning shopping while I was in class. After class, we ventured on to the Dells.  Bryleigh played all afternoon at Knuckleheads. After Knucklehead's, we had an early dinner at Noodles and Company and Fro Yo at Orange Leaf, followed by shopping at the Tanger Outlet Mall.

Bryleigh was so excited that she got to sleep in Mom and Dad's bed while Dad and Christian were out of town!  This morning, we went to church and took a walk around the lake!  A fun filled weekend with just us girls.

Meanwhile, Christian and Daddy were having a blast in Milwaukee at the Brewers Game.

This boy is one spoiled guy when it comes to attending sporting events this year...first a Packer Game and now a Brewers Game. He was so excited to show me his game ball that he got from being in such awesome seats! I think our boy is starting to like sports now :)

It was a great weekend and much needed for both Dad and Mom!

Sculpture Park

While Bryan was helping his Dad today, the kids and I hung out with Grandma and Katie. My foster sister, Katie, spend the night at our house last night so my in law's could have a date night. We got up this morning and decided to try out a  new church, The Light of Christ Church.  The church services are being held in a local coffee whop while the congregation is building up.  It was such an inviting atmosphere and we felt so welcome! The message was delivered by a great guest speaker and I left feeling very uplifted and inspired!  I think we plan to go back again!

After church, we went out to lunch and visited a Sculpture Park in Sevens Point. The kids had fun looking around and we captured some great pictures!

We had a lot of fun exploring. It was much more exciting than coming home to do homework, which is what I have been doing since we got home :(  But before I continue with my homework, I just have to leave you with a few pictures from the past couple of weeks...

Technology can be a blessing or a curse sometimes!  lol...

My lovelies before school the other day....

Coffee made, love note written, and flowers...the perfect way to wake up on my first morning of school last Saturday :)

Last of summer and a Birthday Girl

Well Fall weather has officially hit!  I'm not liking the cold but I am liking the jeans/boots weather!  We had our last summer like weather this past Sunday when we enjoyed the local Harvest Fest! Now this is snow cone love...

Yesterday, we celebrated my little niece, Pheonix, 5th Birthday. I can still remember this little peanut entering the world at 12:12pm on September 10th weighing in at only 6 pounds.  She was such a peanut and little did we know how strong and resilient she would be in her little life! We had lots of little people to help us celebrate her little life!

After the party, we came up to a nice warm house filled with lots of fort making fun!

Its the little things in life that make me happy!
