The end of a season

Tonight marked the end of another fun baseball season for Christian. The Mariners played in a double elimination tournament this week. On both Monday and today's games, they only lost by 1 point. They gave the winning teams a run for their money.

Christian has made great strides this season in his batting, catching, and sliding skills!  He is is so proud of himself and so are we!  I'm always sad when the season is over but then we get to enjoy other fun summer activities! Awesome season Mariners!

He has one ore day of baseball camp tomorrow and he is having so much fun! He was able to play ball with the Rafters yesterday and he gets to end camp playing with the team tomorrow too!  Lucky boy :)

Mother Nature and an update

Darn mother nature...I really liked that tree :( But thankfully no one was injured and that is what really matters!

We also received good news today that all of Bryleigh's test results came back normal from her Colonoscopy/Endoscopy except for a Gastritis. So while this rules out the major issues...Crohn's disease, Celiac Disease, Food Allergies, etc, we still need to figure out what is causing the inflammation and her belly issues.  So we have more testing on Friday.

But in other good news, I am starting to feel more official now! Hard work pays off!

Graduation Day!

I made it...through 4 years of graduate school!  Hundreds of papers, hours spent in the car traveling back and forth to Madison each Saturday, long nights of studying, many tears shed due to missing events and activities of the kids, countless hours thinking about all the things I would rather be doing than attending school, but I did it!  I graduated!

Class of 2016!  I feel accomplished...and relieved to finally have my Saturday's back :)

The End of Journey

4 years ago, I never thought the day would ever come. There have been many ups and downs and a significant amount of tears shed but this chapter is finally coming to a close. After 4 long years. I can finally say that I have sat through my last class as a graduate student ( I still have one online class this summer but I don't physically have to sit in a classroom or drive 2 hours to get there!) Saturday was a very emotional day for my seminar class. We have been through marriages, babies, loss of loves ones, new jobs, etc over the past 4 years and have become more than just classmates, we are like family now.  We shed many tears on Saturday, knowing that after we go through the graduation ceremony on Saturday, we will only go off on our way. We will vow to keep in contact but everyone realizes that life happens! I'm just very thankful that we have Facebook to keep up to date on each's others lives.  I have been blessed to have met so many great people and have learned so much from each and every one of them. Yayy, Class of 2016!  Proud to be an UW-Madison School of Social Work MSW Graduate!

And Happy Mother's Day to all you ladies out there!  It was a great weekend to celebrate so many wonderful things going on in my life...especially my 2 greatest blessing!

Shout out to my Momma and Mother in Law since they are extra special to me and I wouldn't be where I am today without them! Love you both!

Our gymnastics girl!

It was a very exciting week for little miss Bryleigh girl.  After 3 years of of being in gymnastics, and Bryleigh practicing alongside the competition team girls, her dream finally came true when she joined the "big girls" as she refers to them on the team!

We are so proud of our little competitor! She has a true passion for gymnastics and we can't wait to see where her skills and abilities take her!
