Fun with Wyatt

Our friend's little boy, Wyatt, came home with us after school today.  Christian was very excited to have his friend over to play for a few hours!  Wyatt is such a sweet little boy and so polite! We don't mind having him over at all!  And they all played so well together.

I was even able to finish up my readings for school while they played.  Now I'm excited for a relaxing night with the hubby after the kids are in bed :)

Sledding

We spent this past Sunday afternoon at Iverson park enjoying the beautiful weather!  I'm usually not all about going out in the cold unless I absolutely have to but I can handle a few hours in the snow if its warm enough!

It was also a great way to text out my brand new Camera!  It is a Canon Powershot D20 and it is waterproof and shockproof! It took me awhile to figure it out but I think I'm getting the hang of it.  Now it will be able to stand all of the accidental drops that happen to clumsy people like me!  And I can't wait to take underwater pictures in Mexico!

As usual, Bryleigh was quite the little dare devil and after seeing Christian go down by himself, she had to try it to. So we had quite the little set up going down the hill. We had a line up of Grandma, Grandpa, and Daddy on the side of the hill waiting to catch the little squirt if she tipped over!  So I gave her a little push and off she went!  She did amazing and even learned how to control the sled by leaning which way she wanted to go and laying back when she thought she was going to tip over. She is just too smart for her own good.  Sometimes I think we need to instill a little bit of fear into this girl :)

But I do not have any pictures of our little miss dare devil because I was too busy biting my finger nails while she was going down the hill!

We had a wonderful afternoon and there is nothing better than ending a sledding trip with a nice cup of hot cocoa!

Gymnastics Finale

Bryleigh had her last gymnastics class tonight.  She loves her Monday night gymnastic classes, even after 3 sessions of them.  And I love them too because I get one on one time girl time with my baby girl!  I think she is going to have a hard time not having a weekly class to attend so after Bryan and I get back from Mexico at the beginning of next month, I will have to look for another fun activity for her to do!

Our sweet little girl did so well. Its amazing how much she has improved over the past few months. Not with the tumbling because she learned that within the first class but with her attention span, patience, and listening skills.  She started off the classes with wanting to run all over and play on everything in sight and now she follows all directions and patiently waits her turn.  I'm so proud!

After gymnastics, we had to rush over to get our taxes completed.  Every year, the kids get so excited to go to the "tax house" to eat girl scout cookies and play with all the toys. And Tami is so sweet, it doesn't bother her one bit that the kids make a mess of her office in the half hour that we are there!
And mom and dad are excited to get money back every year also :)

All Because 2 People Fell in Love

I finally have a chance to sit down an blog after our extremely busy and exhausting weekend. To say that I am sick of sitting in the car would be an understatement, after about 10 hours of driving this weekend.

Bryan drove with me for my 2 hour drive to school on Saturday.  He wandered around Madison for 4 hours while I attended class. After class, we were on the road again for another 3 year hour drive to Eau Claire.  We were so ready to be done driving at that point.  It was a long day of sitting.  But I'm glad we made the drive so that we could share in our friend's wedding!

We met up with our friends Jenna and Andy in Eau Claire, so we could quick get ready to attend Lesley and Kevin's wedding reception.  We made it just in time for dinner!

I have to say that my husband looked smokin' hot last night!  He is not one to usually dress up in more than just khaki's so I was excited that he let me assist in picking out a nice dress outfit last week. And our course, Jenna and Andy looked great as always!  Of course Jenna was able to wear a cute little dress only 4 weeks after having a baby... puke!!!! Ha Ha

Lesley was a beautiful bride, but I expected nothing less :)

I love that the new fad at weddings is a photo booth!  I don't think that this could ever get old!  It was so fun and entertaining!

And to think that we weren't even drinking...lol. We are just that photo genetic :)

Attending Lesley's wedding yesterday and my bestie Jenna's wedding last year makes me think this...

Its funny to think about how different my wedding planning would have been if Pinterest would have been around when Bryan and I were married!

We had a great time at the wedding but I think I enjoyed meeting baby Gavin for the first time just as much!  He is such a handsome little guy and I just couldn't get enough of him and his sweet little baby noises.

I'm hoping that I can love up on this handsome face more now that I was finally able to meet him!  Jenna and Andy, you made one beautiful baby boy :)
And to add in a cute one that I took on Friday while at my sister's house...

I'm loving all these sweet babies being around,  it really helps with my baby fever for the time being :)

We had a great weekend but I'm sure glad to be back home. We had a full day of sledding today but I'll save that for another day!
