5 year check up

Christian had his 5 year well child check up this afternoon.  Christian is growing and developing perfectly and Dr. Eva said that Christian is a bright little boy. She asked him how high he could count and he just kept right on counting while giving this look as to say, "How high do you want me to keep counting?" He is still small for his age with his measurements being:

Height: 3 feet 4.5 inches (10th percentile)

Weight: 34 pounds (5th percentile)

But the good news is that he has maintained between the 5-10 percentile mark since he was born so he at least he is consistent and his weight/height are maintaining within the same percentile.  He sure does not have height on his side coming from his mother who is 5 ft. 1 inch and his father who is 5 ft. 6 in.

Who is the patient here?!?

The bad news is he had to get 4 immunizations at his visit today. This was very hard on both of us since the last time Christian needed an immunization was when he was about 2 years old when he still didn't understand what was going on. But this was one of those times that the big brown eyes got the best of me.  Thankfully, he was fine within an hour  Also, we were referred to a Urologist for Christian since there are concerns with his circumcision but hopefully everything goes well and we get it all taken care of before he starts Kindergarten and there will be no more concerns. 

Bryleigh on the other hand could be seen wearing rubber gloves and giving the "MuHaaaa"  face since she was not the one that was needing to see the doctor.  Oh sibling love, I tell ya!
