4th of July Camping Weekend 2013

Nothing like having back to back camping weekends.  The last time I blogged was a week ago when we were getting back from our camping weekend at Sera Park.  This past long weekend, we camped with our friend's, Tammy and Travis and Tammy's parents, at Vista Royalle Campground in Bancroft from Wednesday to Sunday.  It was our longest camping trip yet and we had beautiful weather to top it off.  The majority of our time was spent by the pond cooling off...

Bryleigh spent the majority of her time wanting to be buried in the sand by Chloe and Carley.  I think this is the longest we have seen her sit still in a long time!

Our sites were across from a playground which was very convenient that we could relax by our campsite but still let kids play within sight at all times!
Our very favorite part about camping is enjoying the evenings by the campfire. Daddy got each of the kids a nice glowstick that has a whistle and a flash light on it so the kids enjoyed playing with them at night!

Of course we brought along some sparklers!

The kids participated in a few of the activities that the campground was having. One morning they did blow painting and another morning they were in the 4th of July bike parade!

Catching up on all the gossip! lol
On Friday evening the fireworks were held down by the pond.  After a long day of swimming, we got the kids all ready to head down to watch the show!

Bryleigh enjoyed the show from Grandpa Vern's lap!

Bryleigh loves her marshmallows
We finished off the weekend by dancing the night away on Saturday night!  Bryleigh cannot get enough "dancing."  It will be all she talks about for the next week, I am sure!

I hope everyone had a safe, blessed 4th of July!  We sure did, but it is nice to be home now!
