Good News!
My little niece, Phoenix, is getting discharged from the hospital today! She has kept all of her food down since I was up there last, which was Monday! They are still unsure why she is coughing up blood but once her respiratory symptoms subside they will do the test where they go down the throat with a tube to see what is going on. So at least baby girl can be at home to her own crib and hopefully get some sleep! All those thoughts and prayers definitely pay off!

Snowy Day
Today I went up north to the Tomahawk, Rhinelander, and Antigo Area Hospitals to do some Marketing for work and I have been dreading this for weeks. I am not a good presenter when put in a room with many people. I freeze up and stutter. So when I was told that part of my job would be to give presentations, I put it off for as long as possible. But I finally did it, and started scheduling presentations. Of course the day that I have to go up north, it snows. But luckily the roads were not too bad. And Thank the Lord, my presentations went great! I really worked myself up for no reason because the case managers were so friendly and I knew what I was talking about so I shouldn't have been so nervous.
On my way home, I stopped in St. Point and hopefully got everything straightened out with my laptop. Bryan bought me a laptop for Christmas and since the beginning of December I have gone through 2 laptops. The first laptop gave me a blue screen on start up and the 2nd laptop had hardware issues. So now I will be on my 3rd laptop when it arrives at the end of the week. Hopefully this will be the last. Then I did some retail therapy at Kohl's and was happy to come home to my happy kiddos and happy hubby too! We ate dinner and had a relaxing night.
I have to share what I came in to find after I went to get Christian dressed after his bath....
My sweet little girl with Christian's underwear on her head! This is Bryleigh's newest game. She will try to wear whatever clothes she finds laying around! (And don't worry, they were clean!!!!)

Not so fun weekend!
Yesterday afternoon we headed to Appleton to wish my brother in law, sister in law, and nephew best wishes in their journey to San Diego, California! You guys will be greatly missed but we know that you will do great! And I'm a little jealous that your moving to a warm climate! The LaBarge Family going away party was held at Naut's Landing Bar and Grill in Menasha. We had a great time! Here are some pictures from our evening!
Today I headed up to Marshfield to visit my niece, Phoenix, because she is still in the hospital. She still has a very bad cough and is not able to keep barely any food down so they will be keeping her at least another night. Although she is so sick, she is still a little trooper and so happy! I feel so bad with her little IV, she wants it out so bad.
Tomorrow its back to work again and then back to the hospital if little Phoenix hasn't been discharged as I will be in Marshfield anyways! This week will be a little different because I will be going up north for work on Tuesday and then Wednesday I have training in town so I will only be at the office 2 days this week! Change up the scenery a little bit!

Busy Busy
It has very busy around here the past couple of days. First, my niece, Phoenix, is in the hospital once again. For those of you that don't know, she was born with Tracheal Esophageal Fistula (Spelling?) which can be described as her esophagus was not connected to her stomach so when she first tried to eat after birth, she choked and aspirated because the milk had no where to go. She did have surgery when she was 24 hours old to correct this problem but along came other problems that were found. Just to name a few Neuroblastoma, possible heart murmur, and many eating and throat problems. On Friday morning, Little Phoenix woke up covered in dried blood in her crib so they decided they wanted to admit her to the hospital because this happened back in April and she ended up having Pneumonia but they also are not really sure what is causing her to cough up blood. So I was in Marshfield anyways, so after work I went up to be with my sister and mom.
As of today, Phoenix is still in the hospital but might be discharged today. They have been running many tests and so far have ruled out RSV and Influenza. They will have to do a test where they put a camera scope down her through to see if there is scar tissue or what not but are not able to do this while she is coughing so hard so they will do this in a couple of weeks. So I just keep receiving updates from my sister but no definite cause has been determined. I hope they find something out soon. Prayers would be greatly appreciated. Its so hard to see kids/babies in the hospital when they have IVs in their arm.
We did end up going to eat with my in laws to El Mezcal last night. Then we went back and watched Despicable Me and then we came home and put the kids to bed and Bryan and I watched Case 39. This was a very weird but good movie. Today will be going to Appleton for my brother and sister in law's going away party so it should be a fun time!
Here is Christian and Bryleigh in their matching Adidas outfits! Bryan thinks I really need to stop matching the kids but I love it :)

Morning Madness
Today started out on the wrong foot. I usually have my alarm set to go off Monday-Friday but I turned it off this week and have just been setting it every night but last night I forgot. Well, of course, my baby alarm clock did not go off at 4:30 like she usually does every morning, so this momma did not get up until 6:55, which is the time I should be leaving my house. So I was able to get ready in 15 minutes and quick headed out the door and thankfully, I made it to work only 2 minutes late. AND to top it all off, I received 4 compliments on my hair do. Mind you, I threw my hair up in a messy bun type thing which I usually just do on lazy weekends. Now if they only knew why my hair was up. But I did have a great day at work and was so busy that it felt like I just got there and then got to leave for home.
Now I shouldn't have been surprised that today started out wrong because last night was very frustrating. First, I was trying to get together all our documents for our tax appointment coming up and could not find the receipt I was looking for to get an energy tax credit on our new doors. And then to top off my night, I get a call from Best Buy that my brand new computer has a virus. I have been having nothing but problems since Bryan bought my a new computer for an early Xmas present. Thankfully, by the end of the night I had solutions to my problems. We purchased the doors with our Menard's Card so we are able to print off a receipt from the in store kiosk and the Geek Squad made System Restore disks for my computer so they are going to work with it. So this has been my last couple of days.
But on the positive side, I went to church tonight with my mom and Bryleigh. Christian decided he wanted to stay at Great Grandma's house. I love the prayer and praise service our church has on Wednesdays! They are so uplifting and fun.
Now just going to relax before hitting the hay but not before I set my alarm this time! Happy Wednesday!

Bedtime Routine
Every night before we put Christian to bed, we say our prayers and then he picks out a book for us to read. During the summer, his favorite book to read was "Go Clifford Go" but then after he received new books for his birthday in July, he lost interest in this book. It only took me reading this story to him several times for him to memorize the story by him remembering me read it and looking at the pictures. A couple of nights ago, he picked this book and he read the whole story to me, word for word, with only a couple cues from me. Its just amazing the memory this little boy has. So tonight I was able to capture him reading it!
And his usual routine, as you can see on about the 3rd page, is he likes to ask questions about every thing that is going on in the pictures! Sometimes it makes for a very long story :)

2011
Here are some things I am aiming at accomplishing in 2011:
1. Bible Study every day
2. Donate more to charities, church, those in need
3. Become more crafty: this is why I started making Bryleigh hair bows and maybe I'll graduate to making her other things.
4.Work on being more patient
5. Plan a family vacation or maybe a very late honeymoon for Bryan and myself
6. Possibly start working on baby #3 late in the year if I can talk my hubby into it :)
7. Drywall the panel wall in the living room and paint the living room again!
8.Eat more healthy meals!
9. Landscape our house in the fall
10. GET OUR CONTRACTOR TO FINISH THE GARAGE!!!!!!!!!
I hope I can accomplish these goals this year! I hope everyone had a Happy New Years! We celebrated by the kids being in bed by 8, hubby in bed by 10 because he is sick, and me staying up till just past midnight and then going to bed! We're still waiting for this all this sickness to leave our house :(
