So yesterday Bryleigh woke up with a 102 fever again! Poor little baby has been sick for almost a week of constant fever, cough, and congestion! She has been so cuddly and whiny and she only wants me! She will just cry if I put her down or leave her with daddy! I feel so bad for Bryan but when she is sick, it seems like I am the only one to comfort her! (Secretly I really love that she needs her momma!) But since I had to go to work, Bryan had to tend to the sickly kiddos! So after work, I took Bryleigh to the Dr. and her bronchitis/lung infection is gone but now she has a sinus infection :( It is never ending! So now hopefully this new antibiotic works to get her feeling better for Christmas!
We ended up going to my in laws for dinner! We had tacos and they were so yummy! After dinner we headed to the Mall to see Santa! It was so exciting because this was the very 1st year that Christian was excited to see Santa! He went right up to him and sat on him lap and told him that he wanted Paper Jamz! So needless to say, Christian will be getting Paper Jamz :)
But as you can tell, Bryleigh definitely did not care for Santa! It probably did not help that she is sick and doesn't want to be by anyone, but of course I had to get the screaming Santa Picture!

Christmas with Angels and Winter Wonderland
This morning we got up early and took the kids to Breakfast with the Christmas Angels at our church! We went with my mom and niece, Phoenix. Christian had a great time! We had breakfast, watched a skit about Jesus Birthday and the real meaning of Christmas, and made art projects. Christian made an angel ornament for our tree, a treasure box with items in it to remind him of Jesus Birth such as a piece of straw, swaddling cloth, gold, frankincense and myrrh, and an angel clip with a message that says, "This little angel is being sent your way. A guardian of goodness to protect you every day. A lovely angel, as precious as can be. A gift to someone who means the world to me! Christian also made the crafts for his cousin, Denali, since she wasn't able to make it today! It was a great start to our day!

My mom and Phoenix came back to our house after breakfast and the kids played til it was nap time! After nap time, we headed to Marshfield with my parents and my sister and her family! We went to see Rotary Winter Wonderland which is a holiday lights display in Wildwood Park! It was amazing! Bryan took Christian and walked through some of the lights display with everyone but since Bryleigh is still feeling pretty under the weather, I stayed in the nice warm car with her while she slept! They were back within 15 minutes because it was so cold. But luckily, they have the option of driving through the lights display so we did this and although you don't get to see as much, it was still great! We will definitely be going back every year for this!

Don't you love the Christian's! This must be the "I'm too cold for this face!" But he was a good sport and I was very happy that Dad took pictures since I wasn't able to come walk through with them!

Sick, Sick, and more Sick
Well as I have been saying lately. Our family has been passing around sickness and I'm hoping that it will leave our house soon! I"m so sick of everyone being sick. I took Christian to the doctor this morning and he also has bronchitis like Bryleigh and he now he is on an antibiotic also. He actually doesn't act sick but he has the nasty cough and wheezing going on. We decided to lay low today and just hung out at home. This afternoon sometime Bryleigh spiked a fever of 103 and we were pretty worried so we called her doctor and he told us to give her Tylenol and Motrin. We did and her fever came down to 101.7 within an hour. That is scary when kids get high fevers because I know one of my girlfriends daughter had a seizure after getting her shots because she spiked a fever rapidly. But we are doing good now.
Our little Bryleigh is growing up and we have been putting off getting her a new car seat but we ended buying 2 new car seats the other day! They are very nice and are good from 5-100 pounds! For Christian, we are on car seat #3 because of having the infant carrier, then the big kid car seat, and now the booster, so we paid a little bit more money but now we won't have to get a booster seat in a couple of years. I think its the best money we have spend in a long time because the kids sure had fun playing with the boxes!
Also I tried to get some pictures of the kids by the Xmas tree this morning but Bryleigh was not having it so here are the ones that I got! And the bow she is wearing, I made that last night! It turned out pretty well. I bought quite a bit of ribbon and flowers at Michael's the other night and I ordered some crochet headbands so when those come in, I'm going to be making a lot more! And she is getting a lot better at keeping them on, only once in a while I catch her pulling at her bow or eating it :)
The plan for tonight was to go to the Mall and see Santa but we have plans for some family activities tomorrow so hopefully the kids will feeling well enough and then we can fit Santa visiting into our plans!

Cookie Decorating
Tonight was a busy night for us! Bryleigh and I both had doctors appointments after I got off of work! It was her 1 year well baby check! Well to no surprise, she is still tiny! She weighs in at 16.9 pounds and 28 inches long! She is in the 10th percentile for length but she is not even on the chart for weight! But the her doctor is not worried because she is still growing and given both Bryan and mine genes, she does not have it on her side to be very tall! But they did give her an antibiotic for her nasty cough she has been having, related to bronchitis :( And if Christian's cough continues, then I will have to take him in soon too because he probably has the same thing! I had hoped we would all be feeling better soon but this is going on about 1 1/2 months of sickness passing through our house! Luckily none of it has been too serious! Bryleigh also had to have 5 shots today :( I always feel like such a mean mother when she has to get shots, and especially that many but I also do not want her to get any serious illnesses either! But on the upside, this was the most shots she will have to get now until she has to get her Kindergarten shots!
After Christian and I went to church tonight, we decorated our cookies that we made! We had a fun time! We didn't even break too many of them! So tomorrow he will get to take them to Preschool for his classmates to enjoy at their Christmas Party!

Don't worry, I don't think Christian sneezed on the cookies :) |

Our Lazy Weekend Continues
So today was much like yesterday, a blizzard outside and a lazy day inside for us!
It was great to do nothing all weekend, although I do get bored sometimes because I am more of a "go go" person! But sometimes we just need to be stuck inside to have some good family fun! Last night Christian and I made cookies and for his Christmas Party this week at school. For our first time making homemade cookies (without my mother) it was a success!
And last night after the kiddies when to bed, I got ALL of our Christmas presents wrapped! Its a good feeling to have that done! It took me almost 3 hours because we have so many big, awkward shaped presents this year!
Today Christian wanted to play games so we played Chutes and Ladders and Dr. Seuss I Can Do That Game! This is such a great game for kids and we have many laughs with this game!
Just watching each of us do the things it tells you to do is hilarious! Here are some pictures:
And of course I have to add a picture of our precious little girl!
Both of the kids have nasty colds and they keep coughing and their noses are running so hopefully this clears up soon! Sickness has been going around our house for about a month now so we are ready for it to leave! I'm pretty upset that tomorrow is Monday already but the week always fly's by for me so its okay! I can't believe that Christmas is only just 2 weeks away! It is sure creeping up on us this year! I love this time year!

A little late but Happy Birthday to my hubby!!!
Yesterday was Bryan's 24th Birthday! We had a great day! We woke up bright and early because Bryan had doctor appointments in Madison. It was so nice of the VA to schedule appointments on his birthday! Oh well, we had a good day. But before we left, Christian helped me make a birthday cake for daddy!
We just had tons of cake from Bryleigh's birthday that we decided not to get another cake but Christian and I used what we had in the house :) And the candle is from Christian's 1st Birthday Party! I told Bryan that it was because he was #1 in our lives! He He!!! Christian loved it and helped him blow out the candles and eat the donuts because it turns out that Bryan had a fasting lab so he wasn't able to eat anything until after 11am.
We stopped by the mall on the way home to grab some lunch and see Santa but Santa was going on lunch break so we will have to go to our little mall in town and see Santa this week! After we got home, Bryan cleaned out the garage to make room for us to park in it for the first time! For those of you that don't know, we built a 2 stall garage this past summer and it is still a work in progress! My dad is doing our electrical, free of charge, so we are on his time line, which is fine but we were waiting on moving everything till the wiring was done but since we supposed to get a huge snowstorm (which is upon us right now) we decided we better move everything so we could park in it last night.
While Daddy was cleaning out the garage and Bryleigh was napping, Christian and I went to Walmart to get some supplies to make Bryleigh some headbands! I bought her one online for $18 and she wore it yesterday and within a couple of hours, she was able to pull the bow apart. So I was thinking, if I can make her bows myself for cheaper then I won't be upset if she pulls it apart! So I actually ran into a friend of mine, who said that I should go to Hobby Lobby so I only bought a couple things to get a start and then I will have to run to Wausau one of these weekends to get some more things!
Here is the finished product:
It is not the greatest but I was pretty proud of my first attempt! For those of you that know me, you know that I am not a crafty person, although I want to be! So I am going to keep trying different things and I have my friend who is going to teach me how to sew!
Then the hubby and I took the kids over to my in laws so that Bryan and I could have a nice dinner at the Branding Iron! We both had steak and it was SO good!!!! We sure had an enjoyable evening! And now, we plan on hibernating all weekend because it is really snowing out there! We probably already have 6-8 inches of snow! So have a great day and Happy Snowman Making :)

Bryleigh's 1st Birthday
Happy First Birthday to our beautiful baby girl, Bryleigh Kadence Keith! Where has the past year gone? It has been such an amazing year watching Bryleigh grow and seeing how Christian has turned in to such a loving, protective big brother! Our kids are definitely the heart of our family and we couldn't be more blessed! It's amazing to think that just 1 year ago I had just given birth to a tiny 6 lb. 3 oz baby girl who was completely dependent on me for everything to now she is 17 lb. and gaining independence every day. She is walking, saying several words, and climbing on anything that she can! We thank the Lord every day for the little miracles that we have been blessed with!
We celebrated by going to The Golden Corral for Dinner! Bryleigh had her first buffet style dinner and she took advantage of it! She ate beans, potatoes, carrots, egg roll, french fries, buns, and of course ice cream and cake! Although we did find out that she did not care much for corn! She is surely our good little eater for now!
