We have a FIRST Grader

We now have a first grader in our house!  Who could believe that we are old enough to be sending our baby boy to first grade!?!  Not me!!!

Bryleigh had to sneak in for a picture with her backpack even though she doesn't start Preschool until tomorrow! 

 Although it was a bit easier taking him to his first day of school this year,  I still left with a bit of sadness!  Not only does he not have rest time this year but now he has his own desk and a locker!

Christian was such a ball of emotions this morning!  First, he did not want to get out of bed, saying "I"m too tired." (Anybody who knows Christian knows that he doesn't sleep past 6:30am EVER!)  He also did not want to eat breakfast.  He said he was nervous and excited!  

But the verdict is...his first day was a success!  He loves his long term substitute teacher ( His teacher is starting the year on maternity leave!) and he he loves his desk!  He can't wait to go back tomorrow!  And that makes this momma's heart happy :)
