Our Father's Day Weekend

Our Father's Day weekend was relaxing and fun.  It was another weekend of camping fun for us. We went to Sera Park with our in laws.  We headed out before noon on Friday so that we could get a jump start on our weekend.  Our campsite was right next to the park which was great for the kids and us!

  Although it was a bit chilly to go swimming, our kids made it look easy!

 I didn't get to spend much time at the campground because I had to leave for school, but the time that I was able to spend there was enjoyable!  It was a perfect way to celebrate the Father's in our life...my wonderful Father in law and my awesome husband! But I can't forget my Dad... Thanks for all you do for us!  We know that we can always count on you to help us out when we need it!

The kiddos got daddy a Coleman Roadtrip Grill and carrying case so that he can take it camping with us! 

Heart of Gold

It takes a special person to go out of their way to make someone's day...Christian received a special package in the mail today with a memory book of their 1st grade class trip to the Timbavati Wildlife Park. Even though he could not attend his trip, he was able to enjoy all of the pictures of his class having fun! Thank you so much Mrs. Scheunemann. Christian was so blessed to have an amazing teacher like you this year!

On another note, our Bryleigh girl started gymnastics today!  She was so excited.  She was still excited after the session was over but I could tell she was a bit bummed because she thought that she would be doing flips and cartwheels on the first night :) We will get there, but she is just our little go getter and she wants everything to happen now!

We had an eventful day of swim lessons, gymnastics, and outdoor fun!  Nothing can compare to my days off to the kiddos!  I just love it!  Hope everyone had a great day!

Dance Recital

Bryleigh and I had a girl's afternoon attending Denali's dance recital.  I was hesitant to take Bryleigh because I wasn't sure if she would sit still. But she did great!  She loved watching all of the girls dance. There wasn't a dance that I didn't hear, "Momma, I want that dress!"  She was so excited, yet so bummed that she couldn't be dancing on the stage all at the same time!  

We are so proud of you, Denali!  You did amazing!

I have a feeling that we will be hearing about the dance recital for week's to come! Bryleigh has already been showing me all of the dance routines! I must say that Bryleigh has very cute versions of the dances we saw!

Last Day of School for our 1st Grader

Today marks the end of another school year! Our big 1st grader will be moving on to 2nd grade! Its hard to believe that I will have 2 kids in school next year!  Oh where did the time go?!?

What a great citizen!

We are so proud of our boy! We received a special invitation to attend an awards ceremony today for Christian.  He was 1 of 5 children to receive an excellence award in his class...2 children received academic awards, 1 received an attendance award,  and Christian and 1 other child received the Citizenship award!  Christian is a peer role model in his class and is always willing to help out his friends!

Our own field trip

On a positive note, Christian woke up feeling great this morning!  On a not so positive note, he was still not allowed to go on his field trip because he had not been fever free for at least 24 hours.  The poor boy was so upset. So as a last minute decision, we decided to take our own field trip. We loaded up the kiddos and headed to Green Bay to take the kids to Bay Beach Amusement Park! 

 The day could not have been more perfect. Although there were many kids for end of the year field trips, the kids cleared out about 1pm and there were no lines at all!  We had a blast going on all the kids favorite rides!

We ended the day with frozen yogurt! Yumm!

We have two tired kiddos and I think that means that they had a fun day! Although we couldn't make it to Timbavati Wildlife Park, we made our own fun for Christian!
