This week's randoms

It is hard to believe that just a few weeks ago, we were paying outside in shorts and tshirts and this week it looks like this...

Mother nature sure doesn't know what she wants these days...this was only last week that Christian was all dressed up as a firefighter for occupation day at school! 

And just this week, I was admiring the pretty trees on the way to work. I feel like I should be getting ready to get my Christmas Tree, not ready to hide Easter eggs!

This week was the kid's spring break week and it was so nice to have 2 days off this week. On Tuesday, we took a road trip to go get our military Id's. The kids did great for having to sit in the car for quite a few hours.  After we got home, we took the kids to see Rio 2. It was a very cute movie!

Tonight, Christian is at a sleepover at his friend, Wyatt's house. He was nervous to go but when I checked on him a few hours ago, he was doing great! This marks his first friend sleepover that is not relation, and without mom and dad! Our little boy is growing up! 

It was a fun night for Bryan and I to spent with Bryleigh. We watched ET and she loved it!  After a trip to the walk in clinic this evening to find out that Bryleigh girl has a Urinary Tract Infection, she needed some extra lovin'.  Poor girl is in a lot of pain...(and this momma is feeling very guilty for getting upset that she has been constantly wetting her pants lately). But hopefully she will start feeling better seen after taking her first dose of medicine tonight. 

I have off tomorrow and will be running a few errands in preparation for Easter, heading to church to remember the real reason that we celebrate this weekend, and visiting my Grandma.  

A Celebration of Sorts

This weekend was meant to be a celebration of sorts... and we had a lot of fun getting together to spend time with family! 

My sister and brother in law, Bryan and I,  and our families headed to the Holiday Inn for a fun night of swimming, food, and fun.  I was able to join them after I returned home from school!

It was a whirlwind of a weekend and I'm so glad that we were able to spend time together!   

Bryleigh's Easter Program

Since Spring Break is next week for the kids, Bryleigh had her Easter Program today. Bryleigh was so excited to dress up today.  She has been begging to wear her polka dot dress!  It was a good thing that I was able to get a cute picture of her in it...

because within 5 minutes of taking this picture, she stepped on the bottom of her dress and tore the bottom layer of her dress while playing light sabers with Christian! I attempted to sew it up but the stitching came right out.  We made a quick stop to Grandma's before school and she also sewed it up!  That lasted for a bit but by the time we got to the Easter program about an hour after school started, her teacher had used clear packing tape to keep the under layer of the dress from dragging on the floor.  Good thing we have another Easter dress! 

One of my favorite parts of the St. Luke's Preschool program is all of the fun activities and programs that they do.  Bryleigh was so fun to watch!  She was so attentive to her teacher leading the program. She would look at us and smile but then go back to intently singing and watching her teacher for the next hand motion! Too cute! 

After her program, we headed back to the classroom for the Art Gallery Display!  Green Grandma and Great Grandma T joined us for the program! 

This is definitely my favorite art project....

Bryleigh loves her teachers and we are so thankful that she is learning so much while also having so much fun!

Apparently I caught Bryleigh while blinking! 

Friends and Funset Boulevard

Our f unfilled weekend consisted of fun with friends on Saturday night...

And a day of fun at Funset Boulevard on Sunday..

It was a nice little break for me to be able to spend time with friends and family without having to focus on homework!  Now back to the grind while I finish out this semester!  

My Mini Me

My baby girl was very excited to be "twinning" the other day!  She certainly is my mini me!  I just love her to pieces :)

 We were very excited for the spring weather this week but mother nature sure had April Fools planned for us... Happy Spring!
