Gone Fishin'

I was up bright and early yesterday morning to register Christian for swimming lessons.  He's already a little fish so it will be great to get him in actual lessons so he can learn the basic swimming skills.  He's already excited and asking when he gets to start.

After getting back from registering, we went to Marshfield for a fun day with friends. Andy and Bryan took the boys fishing while Jenna, Bryleigh, and I tagged along for a little bit.  Christian and Landon were so excited about catching their cat fish...

Okay, and maybe us girls were a tad bit excited also...

We had plans for a cookout  but even thought the weather wasn't cooperating with, Andy was still able to grill us some amazing barbecue ribs!  Hopefully Bryan was able to pick up some tips from him because we are going to have to cook more of those this summer! After dinner, we had planned to have a fire and make S'more's but we had a nice little storm so we had to make do with what we have...

We had a great day and it was definitely nice to get away for the day! 

Surprisingly, I was even able to get Bryleigh to lay down with me and take a nap, which is a blessing considering she was out of her own environment.

She's just the sweetest when she is sleeping! Our little sleeping beauty.

Today has been a lounge day.  The kids slept until 9 this morning, thanks to the dreary, stormy morning that we had.  We are all still in our jammies and have no intentions of getting ready anytime soon.  We are just going to enjoy the relaxation on this gloomy day.
