Sick Boy

It would appear that this sweet little boy is having a good old time, but in actuality, he is pretty sick. He woke up yesterday morning complaining of a sore throat, stomach ache, and body aches.  He rested all day yesterday and woke up feeling "okay" but not 100%.  He wanted to go to school so we decided to try it.  I was in contact with his teacher all morning about Christian's end of the year field trip tomorrow and to see how Christian was feeling.  

Well I received a call at about noon to come pick him up because he had a 103 degree fever and he just wasn't feeling good.  Since I was at work, Grandma picked him up and loved up on our sick boy with lots of love, Gatorade, soup, and Popsicle. 

Christian is doing well now but only because he had some Tylenol a few hours ago.  Poor boy is devastated because even if he is feeling better by tomorrow, he is unable to go to his end of the year field trip to Timbavati Wildlife Park in Wisconsin Dells. I hate the 24 hour without a fever rule!  We let him know that we would take him there this summer.

Now to go love up on my boy! I feel so bad for him.
