Ouch!!!

 We had a great night playing with cars and practicing letters and numbers on the dry erase board.

Christian was  happy little boy...until for some unknown reason, he decided to touch the glass on our gas fireplace...

Poor little guy was in so much pain. So we decided that he needed to go to the Emergency room to be seen. He was trying to be so brave while holding his "boo boo" bunny on his hand!

He has second degree burns and they gave him Silvadene and wrapped his hand.  They also gave him Tylenol with Codeine for pain.  This smart momma brought the Ipad with us and it immediately took his mind off the pain!

We just got home and he was exhausted and went right to bed.  We will see in in the morning if he will be going to school in the morning. We sure don't want a 'loopy" boy at school if he is still needing the Tylenol with codeine in the morning. And to make it worse, its his writing hand so he wouldn't be able to do much at school anyways.

But now I'm off to Walgreen's to pick up his medication. What an eventful night.  Phewww!
