Bryleigh's 1st Visit to the Dentist

Bryleigh had her first trip to the dentist today. Unlike Christian's hesitation on his first dentist visit, Bryleigh loved it!

Bryleigh was very curious and was very interested while the sweet dental hygienist  Chris, explained all of the tools to her.  She was asking many questions, and Chris was so sweet and answered all of  her questions :)  She loved the bubble gum flavor of the toothpaste!

She was quite the little busy body wanting to play with all the tools, especially the water gun and suction tool!

She just ate up all the attention from her dentist and the office ladies!  They just thought she was the cutest :) And what can I say, she is! She was very excited to get a new toothbrush and a bracelet after her teeth were all clean!

But she was a tad bit disappointed when she realized that she was not going to be getting a sucker like at the doctor or the bank. But of course, she batted her little brown eyes at the receptionist on the way out while asking, "you have sucker?' And she walked out with a big 'ole tootsie pop.  (Shhh...don't tell the dentist!)

And to make the day even better, our neighbor is doing much better today and they believe he will be able to come home tomorrow! Thanks for all of the prayers, God sure is good :)

  2. Two good news for the day, yay! Good to hear that Bryleigh had a great time at her first visit. She's such a brave little angel. I'm sure you're very proud of her, and I hope soon Christian will have the same experience.

  3. It's refreshing to see someone as little and cute as your daughter to be so excited of her visit to the dentist. Being aware about proper dental hygiene should be taught to kids so that they wouldn't have major dental problems when they grow older. The fact that the dental clinic is child-friendly, made Bryleigh's first visit all the more fun. Good job!

  4. It’s great that Bryleigh isn’t apprehensive about going to the dentist. It should be easy to convince her to go to the dentist should there be any problems with her teeth in the future. But hopefully it wouldn’t come to that, and her future visits will only consist of checkups and cleaning. Have a good one!
