Bryleigh is talking more and more now! Today she said "See Ya" to Grandma and "More" when she was asking for more puffs! And my favorite..."Love you" although the only one of these that was clearly understood was "more" its still exciting that she is repeating what we say and learning! I love when kids first learn to talk!
One not so good update is that Bryleigh is getting more and more dependent on her Nuk. Both Christian and Bryleigh have loved their Nuk's but we were able to wean Christian of his by age 2 but Bryleigh is really loving it! I think it gives her a sense of security when Bryan and I are away. She is fine without it when we are around except for nap time and bed time but as soon as she goes to daycare or Grandma's house, she will have a temper tantrum about 15 minutes after we leave until she gets it. So I know I am a sucker but I think we are not going to start weaning quite yet. She's 18 months now so we have 6 months before we NEED it gone!
I am also very excited because after having many businesses come to our house over the past couple of weeks, we have chosen the person who will be doing our landscaping! So we should have a nice looking yard hopefully by the beginning of July! We have a lot of work to do before then...take down 3 trees, trimm back our lilac bushes so the kids can actually play on the other half of the jungle gym, and dig up our Lily's. We are also getting a new fence which we should be deciding on here shortly who will put this in! I can't wait to see what it will look like when we are all finished!
And lastly, since Bryleigh has been dealing with a constant runny nose and icky eyes for about 3 months now, we decided to get a second opinion since our doctor just kept prescribing antibiotics which was doing nothing. So after much discussion, we are going to try allergy medication. I really think she has sinus issues like her father but I guess it can't hurt to try the medication to see. So hopefully in about a month we will have answers as to if its allergies or if we have to go back to the Doctor once again!
But to end on a happy note! Daddy gave the kids a bath, can't you tell? Gotta love the Mohawks! :)
