Its Just a Season in Life

I can't believe that the time has come that I do not have enough time in my life to blog :(  I knew that this would happen when my school schedule picked up in full force.  My blog is my way of preserving our memories, mostly through pictures!  It makes me sad that I am now a once a week blogger and sometimes less.  Its even worse that I only take pictures about once a week also. 

 I just keep telling myself that this is just a small season of  my life and this too shall pass! I will be happy once I have my degree but in this moment, all I can think is that this time of my life seems to be way to chaotic for my liking.  I sure miss my 3 day work week with no other responsibilities but to plan fun activities with my family!  

I feel like I am missing so many things these days.  I leave before anyone in my house is awake and I get home after dinner on most nights. The mommy guilt hits very hard when I only have Sunday's to spend time with my family and then my time is split between school work and household chores!  There is not enough time in my day :( 

But I count my lucky starts and praise God that I have an amazing husband who has dedicated his time and life to helping me pursue my dreams.  He is Mr. Mom around here and what a great blessing that the kids have at least one parent home with them all the time!  

So I just keep on keepin' on!  Someday I will be able to be a regular blogger again bur right now I have to get back to my paper!  Until next time....  

Fall Fun

Another busy week has come and gone.  The days turn to nights and it just seems like October is flying by.  I was very anxious all week about a mock video recorded therapy session that I had to complete yesterday. Role playing is not my favorite and then to have it recorded, really makes me stress.  So I was very happy when class was over yesterday!  My day got even better when my best friends called to tell me that they were in town.  We only seem to catch up about 1 or 2 times a year because our busy lives.  Our cousin, Lindsey, was able to babysit so Bryan and I had a night out!  We had so much fun!

This momma has a hard time staying up past midnight, so I was a bit tired this morning.  But it was so worth it!  This morning the kids had me up bright and early so we could  have a little fun with my mom and sister's family while Dad watched the Packer Game!

We had a great day!  I'm sad that our Sunday is almost over, but I'm hoping for a great week ahead! 

Projects, Projects, everywhere!

We have had little projects sitting around here that needed to get done but just seem to never seem important enough to do.  Slowly but surely we have been getting them done one by one. Thanks to my hubby, we have the majority of my hunny do projects done and its nice to not have to worry about them anymore.

Today, I even had time to bake 2 apple pies (even though they are a tad bit crispy on top)...

And get 3/4 of my paper written for this week! I would say that it has been a successful Sunday! 

Our Week

It has been an extremely long and busy week to say the least!  Between Bryleigh being sick last Sunday and Monday, my 13 hour workday on Wednesday, Church Pictures on Thursday, and a paper to write in my spare time, I am exhausted even thinking about it!  But thankfully, I had Thursday off and was able to spend some time with Bryleigh and my sister and nieces while Christian was at school.  

Bryleigh had to miss school on Monday due to being sick but thankfully she was well enough to go back on Wednesday. She was so excited that it was her weekend to bring "Tigger" Home.  Tigger gets to spend the weekend with our little diva!

So far, Tigger has joined Bryleigh for Friday night pizza and a movie at Grandma and Grandpa's! Tigger even got to spend the night there with Bryleigh and Christian!

After my long day at school today, we spend the evening at my Grandma's house.  My aunt, uncle, and 4 of my 5 cousins are in town visiting from Michigan.  We don't get to see them much so when we finally get to see them, we have so much fun!

We sure love spending time with Grandma! We know that the time we have with her here on Earth is limited so we are enjoying the moments that we do have together!  As much as we hate cancer, she sure is a fighter!  We love you Grandma!

Now it is off to bed for this girl!  

Snuggles

Bryleigh girl woke up on Sunday with a fever and all she wanted to do is cuddle. So my Sunday consisted of lots of laying around and snuggles...

The eyes partly open creeps me out but she is still cute! 

She woke up this morning feeling just as icky.  She had to miss school and unfortunately, it was the day that Bryan was the helper :(  Hopefully she starts to feel better soon so she can make it to school on Wednesday.  Plus, we are running out of Disney movies for her to watch!
