Final Walk Through and Cake

Well we had our final walk through of the house today! Im so excited that its almost ours! Now I'm praying that Christian being stung in the head by a bee while at the ealk through is not a glimpse into our future home life! Lol. 

But our almost 8 year old cheered up when he saw his military tank cake!

We celebrated a day early with a cookout, cake and presents because tomorrow we are headed for a fun filled day at the Aquatic Center to celebrate our very special 8 year old!

He was super excited for his Disney Infinity Game System and characters!

 It was a fun early birthday celebration. Now for a long, fun day tomorrow! More pictures are sure to follow!!!

4th of July Fun

We spent our 4th of July weekend camping. We have enjoyed our holiday camping weekend for the past 3 years, so we knew that we needed to go again this year. Our summer has been so busy and since we close on our new home in 5 days, we debated on canceling our camping weekend but I'm so glad that we didn't.  We had beautiful weather and the fireworks show was amazing as always. It was so relaxing and we didn't have to deal with the downtown rush after the fireworks. There was so much good food and lots of time spent with family and friends!

It was a much needed long weekend!  But I'm happy to be home and getting ready for our exciting week ahead! We have Christian's 8th birthday and our home closing this week!
