I am excited to announce my newest creation...Tutu Dresses! I have seen these on little girls and I fell in love and decided I must create :) So I attempted my first tutu dress the other night and I was very excited with how it turned out! Of course, Bryleigh was my little model!
And then I made a matching bow! We'll call this the Rockstar Collection :)
I'm so excited to start selling them! And eventually get Bryleigh's picture taken in one!
And just to share my smiling kids faces...
The kids took extra long naps for us yesterday and Bryleigh must have missed Christian so much during nap time that she could not wait any longer to wake him up right after she woke up! They love each other so much sometimes!

We're Back...
Bryan and I are back from our getaway weekend with two other couples! We stayed at a Condo at the Chula Vista in Wisconsin Dells and we had a blast! It was nice to get away and spend time with our friends without kids. Of course I missed them and couldn't wait to pick them up today, but the away time was much needed! I only got 2 pictures because we were too busy having a good time!
Here is my best friend, Audrey! We have been friends since junior high!
Bryan and I headed out for the night! I just bought this dress and I love it. I can never buy long dresses because I am so short but this one fit perfectly!
We attempted to go to the comedy club last night but they were sold out :( So we went to the casino. Believe it or not, I gambled for my first time this weekend! I was so excited because I put $5 into a penny machine and was up to $35 and should have cashed out then but didn't and ended up only walking away $5 ahead. But then we went back the next night and Bryan and I walked away slightly in the hole so I think I'm good on gambling for awhile. It was fun but not my thing because I hate to lose money :)
So we are home now and the kids are napping. I'm happy to be home to my own bed but it was definitely a fun weekend! Thanks to Grandma for watching the kids! They had so much fun.

It's Official
My best friend, Jenna, and her boyfriend, Andy, are engaged! It's facebook official now so I am allowed to official announce it. I've hardly been able to contain my excitement the past two days!
This is the reason that we watched Carson and Landon on Sunday night and although I didn't officially know that Andy would propose, I told Bryan on Saturday night that we would be watching the kids for them and I thought that they would be engaged when they came home! And I was right! Just like I was right when I told Jenna last year that she would meet Mr. right and be engaged in 6 months :)
We love you guys and we are so excited for you to start this chapter in your lives! Let the planning begin!

Excitement is in the Air
I have so many fun things to blog about but I just can't reveal them all! I wish I could but its just not my place to do so! So for starters, Bryan and I were excited to have our my best friend, Jenna and her boyfriend, Andy, their kids over for several hours last night! I love Carson and Landon to death, they are just the cutest! I can't believe how much Landon is a Daddy's boy :) Bryan and I would ask him to play and he would say, "No, I'll just wait right here because my Dad is going to be here in a minute!" They were so easy to watch and they entertained Christian and Bryleigh!
And Bryan even took them on rides behind the bike! It was a great couple of hours and we would be happy to watch them again anytime! And I know Jenna and Andy had a great night out :) Lots of exciting things happening in the near future!
And today, I was so excited because we are talking about going back to Mexico in the spring and I think we have Jenna and Andy talked into coming with us! We will have a blast and I can't wait to go back!
Lastly, I have been talking about wanting to go back to Graduate School for ever now and have applied many times to no avail because of my lack of work experience past my undergrad. But since I haven't applied in several years and have gained more experience and I have a good friend who knows professors at the college I want to attend, I will be applying to attend next fall! I can't wait to get my Master's Degree in Social Work. I didn't know how I was going to be able to manage but I am going to go part time and still keep my part time job. I will have to commute to Appleton (1 hour and 15 minutes away), but only 2 nights/week. So in 4 years, I would have my MSW. The deciding factor was when I checked into my VA Benefits today and found out that my tuition would be waived and I would received Chapter 35 benefits or in other words, they would give me a cost of living check every month (which I had thought only applied to full time students, which I am not able to manage right now. They give a prorated amount to part time students)! I couldn't be more excited so now we will just see how things go come November when I have to start applying!
Now its time for me to go have my snack for the night :) Yummy, fruit pizza that I just made!

Sports Mania
Our past 4 days have been nothing but sports! Christian finished off Vacation Bible School on Thursday learning about God's shoes of peace by participating in Soccer Camp! By Thursday night, the kids were very rambunctious and it was very hard to keep their attention but it wasn't without attempt!
Until next year VBS, it was fun but I'm ready for a rest :)
On Friday, the family talked me into going to the races at Golden Sands Speedway! I have to admit that this took a lot because I'm not a fan of racing and I can think of a million other things that I would rather be doing! This was Bryleigh's first time at the races and Christian has only been there a handful of other times. So of no surprise to us, Bryleigh loved them and when I tried to cover up her ears so that it wasn't too loud, she felt the need to do it herself but that only lasted for several minutes because she loved it and didn't feel it was too loud :) Christian on the other hand, needed to have ear plugs which isn't a surprise because he doesn't like fireworks either.
We got home pretty late and headed to bed because on Saturday, we had a Christian day planned. Bryan and I were discussing how we have never had a day just to spend with Christan alone since Bryleigh has been born (Sad..I know), so we decided to take Christian to Green Bay Packers Family Night at Lambeau Field. We have had him excited for over a week for this and my mom, bless her heart, watched Bryleigh overnight for us! So we left home around 2 yesterday and stopped in Waupaca with Bryan's uncle, aunt, and cousin for some pizza. We arrived at Lambeau and Christian kept chanting, "Go Pack Go." He is just the cutest.
I kept telling Bryan that the weather was so beautiful and that I would go to Packer games all the time if the weather was like this and not -10 degrees below zero. And I spoke too soon because about 10 minutes into practice, they announced over the loudspeaker that everyone had to get into the concourse because there was a big storm coming and they expected it to pass in about 45 minutes.
This was at around 7:30 and we were still waiting out the storm at 9:00pm when they announced that it was safe to return to your seats. Safe but not nice, because although it wasn't lighting, it was still pouring like crazy. So even though it was still pouring, they started the fireworks show and Bryan took Christian out to see them. I did hear that the fireworks show was fantastic so I'm glad we stayed. Although I did realize 2 things last night, I am a Packer Fan but just not a die hard fan because I am not willing to go out in any weather to watch, and I think we traumatized Christian because he informed us that he doesn't want to come to another Packer Game because of the fireworks. So apparently he still doesn't like fireworks :(
So our attempt at an amazing day with Christian did not turn out like we had expected, but we still had fun and I think Christian enjoyed himself too!

Rosco
Well, its official, Rosco was a big hit with all the kids at VBS last night! It was complete chaos but worth it to see all the little kids faces when Rosco walked in!
They took each of the kids individual pictures also to use for their baseball card project they made several nights ago! I can't wait to see the finished product!
Last night the kids learned about the Belt of Truth in Mountaineering Camp! The kids learned about telling the truth and Christian was the first one to raise his hand to inform the "coach" that he lies sometimes! Oh what comes out of little children's mouths :)
It has been a fun week so far but I have to say that I appreciate all the volunteers that put VBS together because it is a lot of work and I am exhausted after a few hours with a group of 20 three and four year olds! Tonight will be our last night until next year!

The Helmet of Salvation
Lately, I have been a day behind on my posts but we have Vacation Bible School every night this week from 6-8:15pm and by the time I get home, get the kids bathed, and ready for bed, I head for bed also! But the week has been fun and Christian is enjoying it and I'm having fun being a helper also. The kids are attending a different sports "camp" each night and learning about the armor of God. Last night, Christian was in football camp and learned about the Helmet of Salvation. I have to say that this has been Christian's most favorite so far and the "coaches" did a great job keeping all the kids attention. The kids had a hot dog for snack and even made their own football jersey :) I was able to get a few pictures in between the chaos.
So far we have learned about the Sword of Spirit, the Breastplate of Righteousness, and the Helmet of Salvation! Can't wait to see what we learn about tonight!
And I can't forget about Bryleigh girl! She is becoming quite the big girl! And since, she finally hit just over the 20 pound mark, we turned her car seat around to face forward and she LOVES it :)
Oh, and she loves her brother too!
