Bubbles:)

Bubbles, bubbles, and more bubbles!  This is the story of our Thursday night! Since it was the last day that one of our foster sisters was going to be in town, we went out to eat with the in law's to Golden Corral!  Then we finished the night off by sitting in the hot tub! And what's a hot tub without lots of bubbles...

Bubble Butt :)

And funny moment, Bryleigh kept putting her hands down her pants and we couldn't figure out why.  We summed it up that it could only be one thing...She is her father's child :)  Love you hunny!!!!

And last but not least, we are so proud of our little man!  He learned to blow bubbles in the water and dunk his head!  I was able to catch it on video!  I think once fall comes, he will be well prepared for swim lessons!

Family Reunion

This past weekend, my co worker and I went shopping in the Dells!  We have had this planned for almost a month and I was so excited to go! We had a great time! I usually feel guilty for leaving the kids on weekends when I haven't seen them much for the week and especially because Bryan watches them all week long.  But my mom actually asked to take the kids for the afternoon since she had a family reunion.  Its pretty distant family for me so I didn't attend.

So I had fun shopping, Bryan had time to himself to relax, and the kids were able to live it up out at the lake.  It was very hot this past weekend and the kids did not have swim suits with them so apparently this is what happens at the lake when you think the kids are just going to get their feet wet...

Thanks for the pictures mom!  And we thank you so much for watching them for the day!

Its a hot one out there!

Although most would be complaining about the very hot and humid air out there!  I am not!  I love the hot weather and would take this for cold any day of the year!  And I am not one to go swimming unless it is super hot out or else I am cold.

So after church and naps, we headed to the pool!

Unfortunately, we didn't realize that the pool is only open until 5pm on Sunday's so we only were able to get in a little over an hour of play time!  But fortunately for us,  its so supposed to be hot all week, so I'm sure we will be having more pool fun this week!

Playdates Galore

Today was a morning filled with playdates! Unfortunately we were too busy playing to get any pictures but my friend Jenna came over this morning with her 2 kids, Rylan and Mason.  And this was the first time that she brought both kids over!  The kids enjoyed playing together, although Bryleigh was only interested in baby Mason and kept wanting to touch him!  I definitely have to keep my eyes on her around babies :)

Then we met up with my friend, Chris, AKA the kids daycare provider when Bryan is working.  She had her 5 year old daughter and 3 other little ones and we met for lunch at McDonald's.  It was a great way to grab some lunch and be able to tire the kids out before nap time!  It was nice to be able to catch up since I haven't seen her in about a month.

Later this afternoon, we had to run some errands and now we are back home.  I've had an awful headache all day so I'm ready to relax and watch some movies with the hubby!

Here are some phone pics that I took today!
Our little Diva doesn't go anywhere without her purse!

You can't eat food in this house without being surrounded by little mouths!!
Just a relaxing evening

Trellis, TV, BWW

I only had a half day of work today so I was able to come home by noon and take a quick nap when the kids did (It was so nice :)  And then we headed to up to Stevens Point because we had some things we needed get.  Our main goal was to find a trellis for one of our new plants and we were successful!

I love it,  it really does make the front of the house stand out!

And tonight, my husband is a very happy man!  We are now the proud owners of a 55" LG LCD TV!  Our very old TV in our room is finally on its last leg and we needed a new one!  Little did I know that we were going to take our 42" TV from the living room and put it in our room so that we could get a newer, bigger, better TV for the living room!  It was not money we were planning on spending but we will be happy that we did!

The kids were having a rough time being patient so I finally gave in and let them play on the shelves!  Hey, its better than screaming right???

Finally, we had to make our usual stop at Buffalo Wild Wings.  I have never been a wing lover but since my first time there about a month ago, I have to say I am addicted.  And who could pass up 60 cent Boneless wing Thursday :) My favorite is the Parmesan Garlic, they are so yummy!!!!  The kids had a great time with their balloons and hats also!

Tomorrow, we have a fun day planned with 2 play dates!  Should be a fun start to the weekend!

Last Game

Tonight was Christian's last tball game of the season!  I'm actually very sad because I enjoyed going out and watching him on Monday and Wednesday nights for the past month!  I will be excited next year when this time of year comes around again, that is if Christian decides he wants to play!

Christian had a great experience but it is sad that he finally just got the hang of the game and now its over :(  We will definitely be playing more ball at home!  Also, I'm sure Christian is going to miss his "girlfriend."  He told me before his game that he likes Kendra!  Too cute :)  She is the cute little girl in the picture below with her hands over her eyes!

Great Season Astros!!!!

Birthday and a Wedding

Christian's actual 4th Birthday was on Saturday but as you all know, we celebrated on Friday with his "Spiderman" Party!  He had so much fun and talked about it all weekend.  On Saturday, we had just a typical day of lounging around the house and playing with all of Christian's new toys.   Then we had our good friend's wedding reception later that night.

My best friend, Audrey, and I have been friends since junior high!  We were inseparable until she moved away from me several years ago!  Although we don't see each other much, we can still not see or talk to each other for months and pick up right where we left off.  I love that about our relationship!  Anyways,  her sister, Monica, was also like my sister!.  And to add a little more to the mix,  my sister and Monica were best friends at one time and that's how Audrey and I got to know each other.  Well, the wedding we went to was Monica's reception.  She was married in Las Vegas on June 14 but this was her reception.  She was one pretty bride, that is for sure!

Not the best picture, it was from my phone!  But you get the idea!
And funny thing was, Sugar Babies Bakery also made her cake!  I joked with the owner, Paula, that I gained about 5 pounds this weekend, from her cake alone!  She did an amazing job, once again!

Stevland and Monica
I loved being able to catch up with my friends and the kids had so much fun dancing!  There was also the cutest little girl there, Emma,  that turned 1 on that day!  Christian went up to her and said,  "Did you get 4 today too?"  It was the cutest!

My family with my good friends, Kevin and Heather
We were able to stay almost until the end and the kids did so well!

My hot hubby and baby girl!

We laughed so hard because Monica and Stevland's two little boys, D'Marion and Kesan really know how to dance and Christian was trying to "break dance"  also.  We were joking around with Stevland's whole family that our son really looked like a "white boy"  compared to the amazing dancers in Stev's family!  Ha Ha  It was definitely comical!

My bestie Audrey!

Congrats Monica and Stevland McCovery!  We are honored that we were able to share your special day with you!

And hats off to the birthday boy also!
Love you baby boy!!!
