Girls Day

Yesterday was a fun relaxing day of breakfast with the kiddos, going to an open house to take a peak, and taking the kids to see "Home"!

Today, my mom, Bryleigh, and I had a girls shopping day!  I found Christian a shirt to match the girls Easter dresses and found a few summer dresses for Bryleigh. And Bryleigh got to see the Easter Bunny!

Such a fun weekend! I almost forgot how fun weekends can really be :)

Life Changes

And just like that, life has changed!  Our home that we have laughed in, cried, in, and shared many memories is now home to another young girl who will make many memories!  So bittersweet that we will never come home to this house anymore.  I have shed many tears both happy and sad reminiscing over all the time we have spent  in this home. Good Home! We truly made this house a home and I am so sad, but I know that eventually we will find a new house to make our home!

We feel very welcome at my in law's home and I feel blessed that they have accepted us into their home until we find a new home. The kids are extremely excited that we are living with Grandma and Grandpa all the time now! 

Today we dropped off our house keys, swung by the house to make sure the storage pod was picked up (we may have stopped to introduce ourselves to our new home owner's mother who was unpacking..and she is super sweet!), and then we went to Bryleigh's 4K Easter Program!

We also had Bryleigh's final dance class for this session on Thursday too! She did such an amazing job! 

Now I'm off to enjoy the weekend without having to worry about school, packing, or moving! 

Field Trip Fun and the rest of our weekend!

I chaperoned for Bryleigh's last Community Helper field trip of the year on Friday. We went to a Woodlands Veterinary Clinic.  Bryleigh's favorite part was seeing the clinic cat, Purrl!

On Friday afternoon, I met up with my friend, Heather, to start doing wedding stuff for our best friend's bridal shower and wedding coming up! I just had to chuckle when I saw her cat watching cat videos on TV!  Too Funny!

 Saturday morning was amazing!  I finally got to sleep in because I did not have school!  I have a long break until August since I am taking an online class! I feel like I finally have a life on Saturdays now!  I went with Bryleigh to her Ariel "Under the Sea" birthday party for her friend, Isabelle. Christian came along and hung out with Isabelle's brother, Max!

It was such a fun party!  Of course every aspect of the party was perfect considering Elizabeth is "The party planner"!

After the birthday party, I had my cousin's wedding shower to go to! The shower theme was Cheetah and the decorations were so cute!

And we can't forget how we spend the rest of the weekend...packing. I'm so sad that our days are limited in our house we have called home for almost 8 years :( This is the last weekend that we will ever spend in this house since we officially close on March 27.  I have mixed feelings and often wonder if we truly should have sold our home.  I know that we have good reasons for wanting to sell and our dreams will be realized when we find our perfect home, but until then, I'm having second thoughts.  I have realized that with all this packing, I never want to move again!
